HNA addresses PFH’s Inflation-Pricing Study

The Hessian-Lower Saxony General Newspaper refers to massive price increases in companies and refers to the empirical study on inflation pricing, which pricing expert Prof. Hans-Christian Riekhof and Julian Reutel 2022 have created for the PFH Private University of Göttingen.

The key facts quoted here: 82 percent of companies plan to pass on the price increases for raw materials and preliminary materials to their customers. More than 60 percent of the companies surveyed want to implement price increases in the double-digit range, 15 percent of the companies are even aiming for price increases of 20 percent and more. 72 percent of these companies can even imagine a second price increase in 2022. For the companies there is a “considerable need for action”, concludes PFH professor for international marketing, Hans-Christian Riekhof.

Further Press Resonance on the Göttingen Alumni Day

In the Hessian Lower Saxony General (HNA), the follow-up report on the first alumni day of the Private University of Göttingen appeared. The article in the original wording follows.

Former students share experiences

Alumni and their tips for life after graduation

By Andreas Arens

Göttingen. At the alumni day on the campus of the PFH Private University of Göttingen, former and current students were able to make personal contacts and exchange ideas.

What are the most important messages that alumni have taken from their studies at the PFH? What do they particularly value when selecting employees? What current challenges do they face and what do they absolutely want to impress upon today’s students? These questions were addressed by six former students of the graduating classes from 1999 to 2014 in their lectures and in a subsequent panel discussion.

“The last 20 years have shown that studying at the PFH is the starting point for lifelong friendships, sponsorships and even some marriages. With this event, we want to bring people back to this place again and again to tighten the PFH network even more,” said Prof. Dr. Frank Albe, President of the PFH and one of the initiators of the alumni day, at the welcome.

In their lectures, the six alumni Xenia Seidel, Gordon Martin, Tilo Osten, Christoph Vogt, Luana Theodoro da Silva and Rainer Lehmann not only addressed the advantages of the PFH’s study concept, but also gave the current students valuable tips for life after graduation.
