Pricing processes can be very complex. Pricing expert Prof. Riekhof shows a simple methodological framework, a toolbox that all participants can understand and apply.

In this two-day intensive seminar, the 4 levers to increase the pricing competence of companies are taught. These levers are not only explained theoretically, but are applied using practical examples from the participants’ everyday work.

Participants, who can come from a wide variety of industries, are recommended to bring specific pricing issues from their own work area into the seminar in order to work on them there.

Publications on Pricing

In recent years, a large number of empirical pricing studies have been conducted as part of Prof. Riekhof’s research projects. Most recently, the comprehensive pricing study of 2018, which examines pricing processes in business practice.

The studies still show that around 60 percent of respondents attach high to very high importance to strategic pricing. However, only 35 percent of survey participants have established a pricing strategy and only 21 percent have so far had their own pricing department or a pricing manager.
