Digitization of healthcare is overdue, says Burda board member Welte
“The government in our state system is neither a publisher nor an entrepreneur(…) To avoid misunderstandings: The digitization of healthcare is not only sensible, but long overdue, as the Corona pandemic clearly shows. Therefore, one would like to applaud the Minister of Health for the energy with which he has tackled this task. But when the executive in our democracy stretches its actual mandate as blatantly as with the DVPMG, the parliament is overwhelmed.”
